The City of St. Louis has shut down the Ead’s Bridge to car traffic because cars were drag racing. We appreciate their concern for public safety. To show our support, we’re going back to our roots and unofficially not organizing an unsanctioned street sprint on this now pedestrian bridge.

There might be categories, brackets, awards, beers and bubble gum. Who knows.

Hypothetically, the distance would be about 1/2 mile-ish.

Meet at The Chrome Hub on Milwaukee Ave in Chicago, IL. Registration is $5 and opens at noon. Race starts at 1pm. You get the manifest with 5 checkpoints 10 minutes before the start. 15 minutes into the race 2 more stops will be added via text message. Cash prize for 1st place in Men's and Women's categories.
